Position: Game & Level Designer

I was part of the Design department as a Game & Level Designer at Stage Clear Studios, a development studio from Madrid (Spain) developing an unnanounced Local Coop Adventure title for the Jurassic World franchise. The game was a single-player adventure with had 6 playable characters and 13 quest to complete, each one with a pair of the playable characters, by swapping between them in real time to synergyce their different abilities.

Tasks


  • Level design pitch, definition of layouts, blockouts and in-game events implementation.
  • Definition of gameplay and mechanics, matching the desired gameplay for all the playable characters.
  • Behaviour trees AI enemy design, for a direct confrontation and stealth gameplay.
  • Enemy encounter design and resource placement.
  • Create and update game documentation and presentations.
  • Work with Unity engine and plugin tools as Pro Builder, I2 Languages, etc.
  • Collaborate with a medium size team (~25 people) of Designers, Programmers, Artists and Producers.
